When PR company Premier Comms got in touch with us to organise a private bus tour for Disney to celebrate and promote the release of the Mary Poppins Returns DVD, we were very excited.
Our Practically Perfect Bus Tour
For the #MaryPoppinsReturns bus tour, we created a unique, personalised route in the City of London. Our special route included several of the location found in the Mary Poppins Returns movie.
If you’ve seen the movie, you’ll have probably recognised popular London landmarks and areas. For example, Bank, Threadneedle Street, and the Victoria Monument at Constitution Hill (just outside Buckingham Palace). But also, Middle Temple in Temple, Holborn, and St Paul’s Cathedral.
As you’ve probably gathered, here at B Bakery we love to give our clients a great time. So we took things a step further. And we decided to also include in our route the house that inspired Australian author P.L. Travers to write the 8 Mary Poppins books. And last but not least, we drove past the actual house where she used to live!
Magic on board
Our chefs created bespoke savoury and sweet food especially for this event. And we made sure that all our food choices and decor beautifully matched the movie. We also had actors on board and played familiar soundtracks from the movie as our stunning (and Practically Perfect) bus drove around the streets of London while entertaining special guests invited by Disney. With its own hashtag, #MaryPoppinsReturns, the event was promoted on social media and created a great buzz.

Bus advertising campaign
Alternatively, to promote your brand or a special launch, you can advertise on one of our buses for a week or two with your own unique ad campaign. We have 3 Routemaster buses which currently provide five set tours a day departing from two different locations – Victoria Coach Station and 8 Northumberland Avenue. Our Set Route Package includes the branding of one of these tours for a designated period of time (starting from a minimum of one week).
